Legend Of Grimrock 2 Sewers

1.2 – The boss is a big rat with a cannon and quite a few minions. Besides dealing a lot of damage, the boss is not very dangerous, but the minions prevent you from moving freely.Having a lot of Healing Potions and a few Frost Bombs, you should hide in a niche, where only one enemie can attack you. This way, you will be facing the lesser rats one by one and they won't do much harm to an experienced team. Eventually you will come to face the guy with the cannon - you should constantly keep him frozen (with Frost Bomb) and attack.
When logged in, you can choose up to 12 games that will be displayed as favourites in this menu.
When he dies, get rid of the rest of the minions and collect the items. 31 – Crystal Gauntlets, Throwing Axe x3Sewers are the undergrounds of the Hamlet of Stormbreach. All you are going to do there is killing a bunch enemies, solving some riddles and encountering two bosses. Be careful while picking up items, because after picking up the shield (6), a familiar leprechaun will appear behind your back, again, throwing grenades at you and won't letting you leave the room until you kill him. Be mobile and dodge his projectiles, also try to be patient, because your opponent will be tougher from second to second.
In the sewers there is also another boss, a big rat with a cannon to be precise. After entering the chamber (1.1) the doors behind you will close and he will appear, with couple of smaller rats by his side. The smaller ones don't present much of a problem except for making it difficult to move around. The big one can be killed in one of two ways.
The first one: simply stand in a corner and kill the bodyguards first, and the boss later, using the Frost Bombs. The second one: More agile, but it rids you from the experience points. After entering the chamber simply rush for a key in order to leave, then lure the rat outside, after you do that, search for the ladder to the higher floor, climb on it and jump on the top of a rat. He will die, but you won't be getting any experience points. There is also a power gem in this location to pick up. To get it, you will have to solve the puzzle (2.1) with spikes and levers.
The devs must really hate hoarders. I feel like I'm always on the edge of running out of inventory space, juggling items around between characters to keep them below the weight limit. Rayman raving rabbids 2 costumes. And then.a certain cave on map 3.gently caress, do you mean I have to pick only one of the item caches? But.there are cool stuff in the others too! They open with golden keys, which you can find everywhere, usually pretty well hidden. There's also caches and treasure doors hidden around the world that also opens with golden keys. You can just pick and choose which one you want for each golden key you find.Oct 15, 2014 23:14.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009. We're all friends here^^^^^^^^ A healing potion cures wounds.Anyone else gotten to the Lexiconary yet?
I'm stuck on one of the statue puzzles here. It's a small room with a portal that doesn't teleport the player in the middle. There's another portal in an adjacent room blocked by some metal bars that you can move with a button on the wall. If you drop an item through the first portal, it'll end up at the second portal. Problem is I can't find any way to make the portal go north or south, just east.Nevermind, I just solved it.
Quite a neat puzzle actually.Oct 16, 2014 00:42.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009. You're not my Dad you can't tell me what to do (even if it's probably a good idea). I'll admit my not planning to go for Alchemist/Alchemy is somewhat out of spite for how much it's being shoved at you, even if it's kind of cool.Oh, you can probably play through the game without one just fine, it's just that later on when you begin running into enemies and traps that can cause injuries or poison/disease it's really nice to have a couple extra potions lying around.I just figure he'd be useful for a first playthrough.Oct 16, 2014 03:26.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009.
So if I cast a fire spell on a dude and the numbers are red instead of white, is that super effective or is that telling me that the spell type is ineffective? I genuinely can't tell. Horse racing manager 2019 apk. On a few enemies, it seemed like Shock was doing more damage than the fire spell when the number was red, but then other times (like on the little tree stump dudes), the number was red and I felt like I was really hurting them.
Or alternatively, is it just a critical hit? Because if it is, then I'm not getting criticals on anybody but my sweet insectoid battlemage, Professor Stagcrown.Red means super effective. Green means they absorb the damage(This seems pretty rare and unique to elementals so far).Oct 16, 2014 04:59.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009. Welp, game's a blast so far, tho there have been a couple of puzzles I couldn't figure out, and now I'm totally stuck in a room and can't get out.I'm in the Ruins of Desarune.
There was a puzzle involving teleporting a monster and some pressure plates. I solved the puzzle and got the item, but now I'm locked in this small area, all the doors out are shut with no visible means of opening them. Anybody got a hint for me if I can't figure this out? Here's a screencap of the map where I'm stuck.Drop the spider into the correct room so it stands on the pressure plate, this should light up the other five pressure plates there. Now take note of which pressure plates have light on them, and drop items on top of those that do.Oct 16, 2014 05:12.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009.
Like I said, I already solved the puzzle and got the item. But now there's no way out. In the lower room there are no exits, I got into that area by falling from above. In the upper room there are two wooden doors and both are closed and I don't see any way to open them.Do you have to leave items on the pressure plates to be able to leave?
Because of course I picked mine up.There should be two stairs up. Are you in the enclosed area with the pressure plates? Placing the items on the correct plates should open up the passage onwards on the upper floor.Oct 16, 2014 05:19.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009. Earlier on you can find a stone head who gives you a hint on how to get in, it goes something like: To enter the Crystal Mines, take the path of the snailIf you just want the solution, snails are slow, rest for a short while after taking every step when walking on the pressure platesGah, I had completely forgot that head, I really should start writing down what they say as notes on the map. Thanks! I was completely stuck.Broken Cog fucked around with this message at 22:08 on Oct 16, 2014Oct 16, 2014 22:02.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009.
Yeah, there's a hint that to get in you have to take the 'snail's path' or similar. I got the gate to open by waiting 10 seconds between steps across the buttons leading to the gate. Now for my own question about Crystal MinesTop floor, no problem, did everything I could see and there aren't any unexplored passages or doors on my map. There's quite a lot of blank space but maybe i'll fill it in later.Abyss level, again I cleared it out fully and got the power crystal. However, the middle floor, the Core, is giving me trouble. There are a few doors I can't open. One of them needs a Mine Key, which I don't have. I used one earlier in this mine, but haven't found a second one. I went back over all the places I've been looking for another one, but came up empty.Anyone finish this place fully?Yeah, I managed to get through.
Could you post a screenshot of what place you're having trouble with, because this place is huge.I think the mine key you're looking for is behind one of the closed doors(the northern one)in the huge cavern that you have to open by throwing something across the chasm onto a pressure plate from the other side.Be careful though. There's a lot of enemies after that door.I also found the answer to the 'This is another way out' statue:Don't worry too much about it, it's a secret much, much later in the game.Edit2: Soooo, I'm stuck again after the Crystal Mines. Does anyone know how to access the elemental temple in Hamlet of Stormbreach? Wow I'm blind.Broken Cog fucked around with this message at 00:26 on Oct 17, 2014Oct 17, 2014 00:06.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009. We're all friends hereWell, through some experimentation I figured out the rest of the Archives code:KO = 3UHUPALA = Turn Left (Sorry, was a bit tired, thanks seorin)FAAM = Turn RightEnd game spoilers:Last fight was really fun and difficult. Had to burn a lot of the crystal consumables I'd saved up throughout the game.
Now I'm stuck looking for the Hidden shrine where I can craft the secret element. Anyone else here at this point yet?Broken Cog fucked around with this message at 05:29 on Oct 17, 2014Oct 17, 2014 04:39.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009. Anyone got tips for how to survive easier?
Even with the default party, the front row guys seem to be way too squishy, especially with those zombies under the graveyard. I also encountered a HUGE room that had like a dozen zombies running around in the pit of the room. How the gently caress am I gonna do that? Just jump down and chug potions like a champ? For that room I just made liberal use of invisibility and Force field. As long as the zombies aren't trying to enter the tile you're standing on, they'll ignore you while invisible.I'd also recommend doing the pyramid before the tomb, since you get a ton of really good equipment in there, but it sounds like you're pretty far into that place already. On a related note, I discovered that you can dig up the graves in the cemetery for loot. Be vary, though.
Some of the inhabitants aren't too happy about being dug up.Oct 17, 2014 07:26.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009. Give me a hint about getting into the pyramid. Also I haven't accessed the tower south of the pyramid yet, nor the fortress south of there again with that wizard dude behind the door, are those before or after the pyramid?Pyramid:Hint 1: Does 'Runemaster's Trial' ring any bells?Hint 2: The item you need to open the pyramid is in an underground cave in the bog for some god-forsaken reason.About the tower: Check around for stone heads in the cemetery, one of them has something to say.Don't worry about the castle yet, that's much later. I've gotten inside the pyramid my question is How do I get past the door with the moon blade and wand of fear?
Or any of those doors? Do I need items from outside the pyramid?Read the notes you found next to them and look around a bit in that wing of the pyramid.Edit: There's two secrets in the Stormbreach Sewers I can't seem to figure out.The first one is in the very bottom right of the map. There's an underwater door there, but I can't find any way to open it.
The other one is the locked door in the northern part of the map, in the room with the tetris-shape platforms. I've found a note depicting the shapes of the platforms, but I have no idea how to make use of it.E2: Figured out the second one.
Was a weird solution.Broken Cog fucked around with this message at 09:52 on Oct 17, 2014Oct 17, 2014 09:23.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009. Yeah, I spent a lot of time looking for that one.I guess that explains why I'm still clueless about the story. I haven't even been to the place I need it for. Thanks!Ohh, just remembered another one. There's a note in the bog with a map on it that shows a bridge over some water and an X.
I'm sure I have to dig on the X, but I haven't been able to find the area it's referring to. Anyone find it yet? That one and the '4 fallen spirits of the bog' (I think they might refer to the four stumps scattered around the zone) are the oldest notes I have in my inventory at the moment.Edit: Just solved the treasure map one. It's in the river area, but the bridge on the map is out, so it doesn't show up on the game map. There's one thing I'm a little curious if anyone else has found the item for: Outside the 'water' element shrine there's a cave that is an underwater area that eventually leads to a vault. When getting up there, there's a note saying a guy dropped the key into the water and refuses to go into the fishman territory. I've looked in all the water inside and couldn't find a key, is it actually in here?
Also the necklace you pick up from his final resting place is ominous yet doesn't seem to have any effect, does it actually do anything? It's just off the edge there. There's a lot of seaweed so it can be difficult to see.The necklace is obviously just a reference to The One RingOct 17, 2014 11:32.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009. I've ran up against a wall at the end. I've beaten the boss, visited all the levels and found all the 20 power gems but can't for the life of me figure out where to find the fifth shrine.
I've already found the altar where to place the combined orb but not the altar where to combine it.I'm at this point as well. I've been running around checking stone heads all over the place, and found some clues so far:The fifth shrine is hidden from sight.Stand in a place with perfect elemental equilibrium.Fire is NW, Earth is SW, Air is SE, Water is NE.Something about following the legend of Kilhagan. You can find the end of the legend next to the tomb entrance in the cemetery. It says that he gave up his arms and became a 'Seeker of Nex'.I'm wondering if you need to find a spot that has something of each elemental in the corresponding direction and unequip all your equipment or something. Honestly I'm kinda drawing a blank at the moment.Broken Cog fucked around with this message at 22:19 on Oct 17, 2014Oct 17, 2014 21:05.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009. I'm not to that part yet, but there's another hint somewhere in the hamlet area that mentions casting a spell to reveal the entrance.
Something about it not being a complex spell, but a balanced one. This might be the spell that's simply only the middle rune. It doesn't fizzle, but it doesn't normally seem to do anything either.FOUND IT! Stand in the middle of where you place the four elemental orbs and cast the balance spell.Bit simpler than I thought when I used the balance spell.Broken Cog fucked around with this message at 21:55 on Oct 17, 2014Oct 17, 2014 21:15.Broken Cog Dec 28, 2009. I actually really loved the bossfight after the fifth shrine.
It's challenging but fair and suprisingly 'tactical' for a game with such simple and seemingly clunky combat mechanics. Definitely way better than the boss of the first Grimrock game.I was really impressed by how huge the game was compared to the first one without the quality of the puzzles suffering for it. You did a great job with this one j.peebaYeah I liked the fight as well, it was just kinda tough(which isn't a bad thing!). Now to find whatever is required for the Relic achievment.Seriously great game all around.Oct 17, 2014 22:12.
