Just few words after reading this on you fb page You are a player of Magical Drop 3, yes 3, you want that we improve Magical Drop V on some part, so take few minutes of your time and tell us what you want to! Yes here at golgoth studio player is the King!Guys have been playing MD3 for more then ten years now, and I was really waiting for this game with online battle and everythings. It sad to say, and I don't want to hurt you about your work on MD5, but we can't absolutely not compare thoose two game.MD3 was made for arcade, thought for it, played on it. It was nervous, intense, colorfull, with nice graphics even if it was old pixel game.Your game - sorry to say that - is not nervous at all!
How dare you telling us month ago, yeah it the come back of an famous arcade franchise. Please, arcade franchise are not played with keybords. You didn't even put in the game at first an arcade stick controller. You want your game to be as good as Magical drop 3. So at first, please, just play MD3, then play your game. The are no enought characters, some of your graphics have been made on paint on something like that. And we are just talking about differences on graphics!Have you ever player any tournament on MD3?
How was that? I was so shocked when i just play the game for the first time few hours ago.Ok you are a little studio, but if you needed more time, you just had to say. The thing is MOST people didn't play it at an arcade.
Hell, most of us probably played it on a keyboard, I know I did. As good as 3 is, it just wasn't that popular, so most of us played it later on, learning it the first time via emulators and keyboards and such. The number of characters is irrelevant, so long as theres a good variety in their patterns, and if you've played Magical Drop 3 as much as you say you have, you'd know there's only a handful of characters deemed usable anyway. And I hate to break it to you, that nervous, intense feeling you get when playing 3 is because the game is an arcade game, it's meant to suck money out of your pockets, it's trying to kill you.
Yes, there could be some more of that in this game, and it would greatly help in increasing the difficulty, but don't act like a game intentionally trying to be unfair is good design. I gotta say the amount of characters were one of my fav parts of MD3 and it was fun to mess around with the different characters and patterns (Except for Lust and her max 3 lines for both side but thats just my opinion). And I have to go with Stan on the whole nervous part and I used to play mostly on PS1 and not the arcades.
I dont know what it is but I just dont get that tension in MDV or barely any tension at all. The single player mode needs a massive boost in difficulty as I beat all opponents (except McCoy) in around 7-10sec and the battle with fortune is so underwhelming compared to the MD3 battle as it ends in 5sec every time. Look Im not saying that Golgoth did a bad job, in fact I love them for reviving the series and their attention to the complaints is great but it just didnt live up to MD3.Oh and please Golgoth, Once you fixed all the bugs add some more characters. The 14chars was probably th biggest dissapointment with the game for me. Okay I am maybe too addicted to MD3, and maybe too hard with golgoth. But it won't change my point of view about some of the graphics inside the game also some arworks are really good. But it's not the case for graphics in the sstory mode.I am sorry to say yhat, but even it's an magical drop franchise's game, I am still looking for the challenge that I had on olds versions ( not talking about winning with sun against strengt!
)There were something as a rythm in the game, I can't feel it anymore.I really hope that this MD5 will become my new drugg my new MD3! Hope so!Cheers.
@Star I'm glad to meet you at least, I've heard a lot of good thing about you. I've met Wolmar a great french player last year, and we'd talked about you and you match with Justin Wong ^^About your article on meta critics, i do agree with you on many points, and i'm really hopping that Golgoth Studio will give us something as good as MD3 or maybe another company, will report MD3 on current machines. You give the game an 6/10, and to be honnest I think that currently this is the best one that we could give to the game.
There are many things to do about the game, and as i say to golgoth i really waiting for the futur on the game, because MD3 is my favorite game, and MD franchise is probably on of the best puzzle's franchise.I'm waiting on it and hope, I'll face you ^^.

My biggest issue with it is that on timed levels, there are extremely long pauses between customers, no matter how quickly you serve the food. This is not the case at all in RockYou’s other game- Kitchen Scramble- in which new customers show up right away after you complete an order. Bakery blitz apk.
Description
This is the third installment in the puzzle frenzy series Magical Drop. In the game you control a clown who throws marbles up on the screen into the cluster of multi-colored marbles, rocks and crystals. The goal is to get three or more of the same color to remove marbles, but you can also grab more than one at the time to create long chain combos and gain better 'special' blocks at the top of the screen.
You can play the game in single player modes or versus a friend in versus mode. In versus mode you get to pick your character, much like in a fighting game, each with their own counter attacks and abilities.
For the PSX version, the first Magical Drop was included on a separate disc.
